Are you interested in contributing content to Raging Metal?
Here at Raging Metal, we
are looking for anyone interested in voluntarily contributing to this site.
We are looking for anyone who is willing to submit reviews of absolutely ANYTHING.
Any genre of music, any movies, games, tv shows etc etc.
We are also looking for
anyone who is able & willing to search for & conduct interviews with
Metal artists either via e-mail or via telephone etc, for this site.
We are also looking for
anyone with a strong interest in writing a Column and/or Articles for this site.
We are specifically looking also for people to share their views on general
issues that effect the life of metalheads, be they discussing politics, issues
about society, issues about your line of work, ANYTHING goes!
Basically, YOU suggest it,
we accept it. This is a whole new venture that we're entering into, we are unable
to think of everything that is possible to include, so ideas from the visitors
are very welcome.
Contributing to this site
has to be on a voluntary basis, none of the current contributors are paid for
their work and not even the webmaster himself makes any money out of the site,
it's all non-profit as we are a non-profit webzine that is totally free to be
viewed by all our visitors.
Contribution levels apply
to Reviewers, anyone who wishes to write columns/articles & possibly also
Interviewers (most Interviewers may be instantly made part of the staff). The
following contribution levels are available (all contribution levels require
compliance with the Terms Of Agreement, at the bottom of this page):
Guest
Contributor
Absolutely no ties. The
contribution will be credited to whoever sent it as a Guest Contributor. Guest
Contributors will only be credited on the actual content that they send in
and nowhere else on the site. On the Message Board (should you register/be
registered) these people are just shown as regular members and have no access
to the Staff board.
Regular
Contributor
The only ties are that
you must atleast contribute to the site regularly. Regular Contributors will
be mentioned on the About Page, but do not get their own mini bio section.
Regular Contributors can be listed as such on the Message Board (should you
register/be registered) if they wish, however they do not have access to the
Staff board. Regular Contributors are listed on the About page, in the top
job table, in the respective section.
Staff
You must contribute to
the site regularly and agree to any set guidelines. Staff get their own Mini
Bio section on the About Page aswell as being included in the top job table.
Staff are credited as such on the Message Board (should you register/be registered)
and also have access to the Staff board.
For reviewers there is
a guideline of 4 reviews per month, basically, try to aim for 4 per month,
but do not worry if you are unable to reach that. All Staff members will be
reviewed on an individual basis. The 4 reviews that you send (or as many as
you can send) can be a mix of CD, DVD, VHS or Concert reviews, it does not
mean 4 reviews of each. Staff have a more involved role in the day to day
business of the Raging Metal website, should you wish to join the staff, you
will be joining a team of friendly & easy going writers & contributors
and you will have unlimited opportunities to share your views and contribute
ideas to help further the growth of this website and better promote your own
material, aswell as others'.
Terms
Of Agreement
You must agree to these
terms before you submit any content to this site:
You agree by submitting
content to be included on the Raging Metal website, that you give your full
permission for Raging Metal to include that content now and for an infinite
period of time. You also agree that the content submitted will be your own
work and that you have proper permission to submit it for inclusion.

For reviewers & anyone wishing to write
articles/columns, please also include which contribution level you would prefer
and also include a sample of your work (eg. a CD review or a short article).
We are always happy to welcome new Staff members to the site, so if the Staff level
appeals to you, please do let the webmaster know.
