The first Live Dio Video since Sacred Heart Live! Now that is a long wait. But Dio made sure this was a top quality production. After the long wait we have a DVD that any Dio fan should enjoy.

Ok, so everyone should know who Dio is. What is even more odd is it doesn't look like the man has aged in the past 20 years. His performance and amazing voice sure haven't changed one bit. First off they included a DTS 5.1 track. It is superb quality and will make you believe you were at the show. The concert itself mixes songs from all eras and they song great. Dio always manages to make everything sound better live. He is such a gracious frontman and seems to always truly love his work and fans. The concert has some great backdrop projection screens that help enhance the entire stage show. The only complaint is that the bass player seemed to simplify some of the older bass lines. But overall the show was great.

The Bonus material features an interview with Ronnie James Dio himself. The interview is very informative and lets the viewer in on many of the inner workings of Dio's band. The Behind the scenes footage shows how they set-up for the show without much interaction, but it is still worth the watch. Lastly we get the video clip for "Push". It would have been great to put more clips on here, but Dio has enough that you could release an entire DVD of just videoclips.

The bottom line is that any self respecting Dio fan should get this. It is a great release and shows a metal legend still at the top of his game. Anyone looking to get into Classic Metal would also do well to check out this video.
