However the site will remain accessible via http://www.metalweb.d2g.com & http://www.metalweb.f2s.com (until March)

Also the old UltraBoard message board has been closed, the new UBB message board is now active.

F2S have announced that they will no longer be offering free web hosting. I have decided that I will make the final move to my own web server, rather than pay for the service that I was getting from F2S, originally for free. The new web address of this site is http://www.metalweb.d2g.com, this new URL is currently active, the old F2S one will cease to be active in March 2002.

Also the message board will be changing, I am dumping UltraBoard and going for UBB. The UBB board is currently set up ready, I shall change it in January.

METAL WWWEB may also be getting a new name, at the moment the most likely new name is Raging Metal, I already have a basic site layout planned, as well as a new logo currently designed.

May's Monthly Poll has now ended, the results will be availble on June 14th, 2 days later than originally specified, as I have been too busy setting up my own web server.

METAL WWWEB is now operating on my own server as F2S was causing many problems for me. I shall use the F2S server to host the UltraBoard & other CGI programs.

Sorry I haven't been updating the SITE NEWS lately, been too busy! Anyway, Chat has now launched and is accessible 24/7, you don't even have to sign up to chat, just go to the page and enter a nickname, simple!

METAL WWWEB will soon be adding a Games Section with METAL related games. One game I am currently working on - METAL QUEST (work title) will be similar to the classic Frogger except you have to collect items that appear around the screen, your only enemies are NU METAL cars that try to run you over and Lars Ulrich from Metallica who is after you for using Napster. (No offence to anyone, I just thought it would be funny!)

The VIDEOS SECTION is now available with 6 56K MODEM quality videos, please do not forget to read the NOTE in red on that page, it contains information about copyright etc. All 6 videos are in .WMV format. At the moment, METAL WWWEB has decided only to include 56K quality videos, there will not be any higher quality vids for a long time, and certainly not high quality versions of currently available videos.
