The first to start of the great genre that we all listen to and appreciate. Black Sabbath during the Ozzy years were considered invincible. A force that could not be stopped. Things, however, did begin to shake up as Dio joined the group. They progressed smoothly until 1982 where band members were leaving and joining and the band was basically changing. This is why I gave the band line up, just so that people know what was happening.

Anyway, on to the album. Newer Black Sabbath receives bitter reviews when compared to their older classic stuff. Older Sabbath was considered at one time to be the greatest heavy metal band ever. Some people still do consider old Black Sabbath to be the greatest. I mean, they should, it's great stuff. But I really don't think that we should take anything away from this album, at least. This is a great album. I like it alot. I don't know what other people didn't like about it, but it's great. Tony Martin has some excellent vocals, all the songs were catchy and had a "rock n' roll" sound to it. Tony Iommi, as always just keeps coming up with excellent riffs and there's great bass work from Geezer Butler.Buy this album, it's not as good as 1970's Sabbath but it's great on its own.
