RM: Hey guys, please tell us who does what in the band, and where you
guys are from.
AT: We're Accion Terrorista from Salinas, CA. Rafa plays Bass, Matias plays
Drums, and I, Juan, play guitar and bass.
RM: How long have you been playing together?
AT: Me and Matias played in a band for about 3 years, and Rafa joined us about
6 months ago. The week we got him, we got a show. We had to prepare him with
all our songs in one week! He barely had any experience, but ended up kicking
ass anyways.
RM: What got you into this kind of music?
AT: The rapidness and agresiveness that makes you want to rip some person's
face off in a mosh pit.
RM: What is your music all about?
AT: Our music revolves around death and satanic, anti-religious material conbined
with terroristic acts. "KILL THE POPE!"
RM: Do you guys ever get any shit for wearing the camo, and the terrorist
masks?
AT: Yes we do. The other day some all american prick was giving us shit because
of our "support the terrorism" flyers we get from fans who take our
name, Accion Terrorista, seriously. He told us if we didn't like the american
way we should get out of the country. Yes, we are American citizens by birth,
but we have Mexican roots. VIVA LA RAZA!
Also, Most people grab us as a shock because of the terroristic masks. Since
we don't follow the circle of the scene, many people talk shit about us.
RM: How do you think you guys have contributed to the metal scene in
your area?
AT: We're the only pure thrash band in Salinas. We're also one of the ONLY
metal bands around the area. Nobody compares to our music around here, we're
one of a kind. Our music is so fuckin' crazy, it'll make Jesus bleed.
RM: What are you guys listening to on a regular basis?
AT: Mostly Destruction, S.O.D, Transmetal (not the new shit, but the good-old
stuff. Fuck the new shit) Possessed, Brujeria, Kreator (again, old shit), Nuclear
Assault, and Angeles Del Infierno (old shit). WE also listen to bands from Mexico
like Septimo Angel, Escape (not the fucken ska band), Next, and Especimen (most
of this shits underground).
RM: What if anything do you have out right now? When will you guys
have more shit out, and what will it be? Where can people get these items?
AT: We distributed 30 demos when we went to go play at the Backyard Beer Bash
in San Bernandino. I dont think anyone out there can really get a hold of those
demos, but soon we're going to bring out a new demo for all you true fans feturing
3 new songs so you can bang you fucken head off.
RM: What are your plans for future shows/tours?
AT: They're not planned, they're happening! We want to see fucken people jumping
off the roof when we're giving the desmadre.
RM: If you guys could tour with anyone who would it be (3 bands) and
why?
AT: S.O.D., Septimo Angel (if they're still around), and the I.E. Death Crew.
