Victor has been with Sauron for the past three or four years and has basically put his playing energy into Sauron's new demo, "Prepare to Die". His unique style and fast tempo-based songs put Sauron in a class of their own.

As a child, what type of music did you listen to? Did this influence the type of music you played?

Whatever was on the radio, i didn't really get into to music much until i was14 when I started really listening instead of mimicking what everybody else liked!!!!!!!! I started out listening to Zep and the Beatles, and hell I still do!! A few bands that I did listen to that I am not to proud of though were Phish and the Grateful dead, I don't even know why I liked them anymore, probably just a phase i guess! I didn't start playing the guitar till I was 16or 15 and by then I was into more heavy stuff like Megadeth and Black Sabbath, those are what really ended up influencing how I played my guitar, even when I listened to almost only Zepp, the Beatles and Megadeth I was trying to write faster more thrashy songs, although a few rockers popped out here and there, hehe,
I still remember those songs, haha!

When did you start getting into metal?

When I was about 15 or 16.

Who are the major influences in your guitar work?

Murry/Smith of Maiden, Downing/Tipton of Priest, Atlus/Pircy of Heathen, Holt/Hunlot of Exodus, and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, without a doubt!! Oh yeah also Mille from Kreator.

What are your favourite bands?

Megadeth, Exodus, The Beatles, Queen, BlindGuradian, Priest, Maiden, Sabbath, Heathen, Led Zeppelin, Darkthrone, and on and on and on..........

Where is your favourite place to play?

Macs Bar in Lansing, free Beer equals good time!

What are Sauron's plans for the future? When can we expect to see more of you?

To Thrash Till Death!! And hopefully yes, heh!!

How many groupies do you actually get? Haha

If you mean women who hang out with the band and have sex with the band, members, well I would say nearly enough.

If you could describe Sauron's music in a single sentence, what would you describe it as?

Three words, RAW FUCKING THRASH!!!
